Grant Application For Continuing Education

Our practice is as good as our teacher’s knowledge. In order for yoga to be a powerful tool, we must have qualified, passionate teachers to guide our yoga practice. The YTOB Foundation will provide grants for our local yoga teachers for continuing education. As the necessity amongst individuals and science for both physical and mental health continues to expand, empowering our teachers with the educational tools to guide our commUNITY is paramount and necessary. The YTOB Foundation understands that the yoga teachers of the Treasure Valley have the desire and necessity to continue expanding their knowledge in this industry. This is how we create healthy and neutral containers for people to practice with confidence.

Yoga teachers currently affiliated or teaching at our participating yoga studios are eligible to apply. Each yoga teacher can apply for a specific training they would like to attend. Each application will be reviewed by the Foundation for consideration. It is important to the Foundation that the course of choice be one that promotes furthering a teacher’s ability and toolbox to deepen their personal knowledge and skillset. Within 12 months of completing the continuing education course, the yoga teacher will guide a specialized class or workshop at their chosen location. And get paid to teach the class, of course!

YTOB Foundation Teacher Grant Application

We are pleased to announce that the Yoga Tree of Boise Foundation (YTOB Foundation) is offering continuing education grants to current yoga instructors. Our foundation's mission is to provide yoga education, promote health and wellness, and enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities through the practice of yoga. This grant program aims to support the professional development of yoga instructors and improve the quality of instruction in our yoga community.

This grant will supplement and provide financial assistance for the cost of continuing education courses and workshops for yoga instructors. This is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your teaching skills, deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy and history, and expand your knowledge of different yoga styles and methods.
